A KANBAN board is a work and workflow visualization too that enables you to optimize the flow of your work. They are customized to meet the needs of your workflow. Some can be physically located on a wall with sticky notes or magnetic cards moving through the process. Other boards can be electronic. Leveraging the Work Breakdown Structure utilizing a KANBAN board has proven to improve productivity, accountability, and quality.

One tool used on some SOM projects is the TFS board available through SharePoint.
